SONEs Upset At SM Entertainment As Label Cancels Girls' Generation Taeyeon's Highlight Video!
Previously on the 4th of February, K-pop soloist and Girls' Generation's (SNSD) leader, Taeyeon, was slated to drop the highlight video for her upcoming third full album "INVU," to the delight of netizens and fans.
But on the same day, SM Entertainment (Girls' Generation Taeyeon's agency) made an announcement via Girls' Generation's official Twitter account that they would be canceling the K-pop icon's highlight video's release on February 4, due to quality issues.
SM Entertainment's announcement is as follows:
"Hello, this is SM Entertainment. We would like to inform the fans who are waiting for Taeyeon's third full album 'INVU' to be released on February 14. Taeyeon's highlight clip content for her third full album 'INVU', which was scheduled to be released from today (4th) to the 10th, could not be released due to issues in video quality."
Additionally, SM Entertainment also followed up with another message via a tweet. As per the Girls' Generation's label, they sincerely apologize for sharing the unfortunate news to K-pop fans who have been waiting for a long time.
"We ask for your kind understanding as this is an unavoidable cancellation decision. We will do our best to prevent the same problem from occurring in the future teaser contents. Thank you," SM Entertainment added.
