Crazy Music Sings Praise Towards TWICE +Names ‘CHEER UP’ As Representative Song Of The 2010s!
It seems like JYP Entertainment's TWICE is immensely unique in the K-pop industry as a popular Korean composer and producer recently sang high praise towards the K-pop girl group!
In the January 28 episode of SBS Power FM's "Kim Young Chul's Power FM," Korean composer and producer Crazy Music talked highly of K-pop group TWICE and their 2016 hit song "CHEER UP"!
As per Crazy Music, there were so many singers representing the 2010s, including EXO, BTS, Miss A, and Block B, but the K-pop artist and song that he decided to bring up was TWICE and their hit song "CHEER UP" which 'made the whole nation 'Cheer Up'.
Specifically, Crazy Music expressed that he can feel the South Korean sensibility from the K-pop song from JYP Entertainment's premiere 3rd generation K-pop girl group, TWICE.
Compared to other elite K-pop groups such as the immensely popular BTS and BLACKPINK, Crazy Music revealed that the reason TWICE is unique for him is due to the JYP Entertainment's Korean sensibility.
"The current K-pop is more than 10 times larger than in the past So, like HYBE, home to BTS, Korean agencies recruit overseas pop stars and famous overseas composers participate in composing K-pop songs," Crazy Music explained while talking about TWICE.
Furthermore, Crazy Music also stated that TWICE's hit track does not only ooze the Korean sensibility but was also composed by a Korean composer such as Black Eyed Pilseung's Choi Kyu Sung. Once again talking about the K-pop girl group's unique point.
This was a huge praise as Crazy Music is a Korean composer and producer who has made 127 songs which include tracks from K-pop icons TVXQ, Super Junior, BTOB, JYJ, and many more. Furthermore, Crazy Music is a full member of the Korean Music Copyright Association (KOMCA).
