IU & BTS Sweep The 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards +Full List Of Winners!
On the 27th of January, netizens and fans cheered for their favorite artists and K-pop stars at the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards! The event took place at the Jamsil Arena and was hosted by JaeJae, Sieun of STAYC, and Doyoung of NCT.

Notably, the Gaon Chart Music Awards results are mainly based on the commercial success of tracks and albums based on the national Gaon Music Chart. Furthermore, the Artist of the Year is split into digital music and physical album categories for K-pop stars and artists.
Adding to this, the digital music awards were dubbed to the song with the highest number of digital downloads and streaming for each month from December 2020 up until November 2021 giving netizens and K-pop fans ample time to support their favorite artists.
The physical album awards were dubbed to artists and K-pop idols who had albums with the highest sales for each quarter of the same year.
