$200 Too Much: Netizens & Fans Upset At DOBUMASK & HYBE For Overpricing BTS Face Masks!
Netizens and K-pop fans were recently caught in an uproar as DOBUMASK and HYBE have been caught selling overpriced facemasks of BTS!

Notably, mask company DOBUMASK is currently taking heat from netizens and ARMYs, the fandom name of BTS, for selling special collaboration masks with HYBE for the seven members of the globally acclaimed K-pop boy group.
The face masks come in individual colors, which allude to each member of BTS, and the boxes were designed using the K-pop boy group's "Butter" album colors. To add to this, each mask is also decorated with the logo of BTS's "Butter."
Buyers of the face masks packs will get a pack containing seven masks that are individually packed in a respective mask pouch. The set of 7 x 7 masks are currently being sold for the pricey amount of ₩245,000 KRW (approximately $204 USD), making fans of the K-pop boy group upset.

While the face masks themselves are produced by DOBUMASK and not HYBE, K-pop fans have also started questioning HYBE as they have agreed on the expensive pricing of the collaboration.
The mask company DOBUMASK is being called out by K-pop fans for capitalizing on the current COVID-19 pandemic.
While some netizens and K-pop fans are notably not aware that the face masks were a collaboration with BTS, the ones who are, are still getting upset at HYBE for approving the collaboration.
As of writing this article, neither HYBE nor DOBUMASK has released a statement regarding the BTS collaboration.
