TWICE Sets Amazing Milestone On MAMA For Winning The Most 'Best Female Group' Awards!
On the 11th of December, the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards finally took place, and aside from the notably amazing and out-of-this-world performances, the main event of the awards ceremony itself is the presentation of awards itself.

The MAMAs are mainly known for not giving awards to those not in attendance at the lucrative awards show. But, this year's awards ceremony was a special exemption due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
For the first time since their debut in 2015, K-Pop's "Best-selling Girl Group" TWICE was not present at the 2021 MAMAs. But alongside BTS (who were also not present) and IU, TWICE went on to win the biggest awards of the awards night to the amazement of their fans.
The awards that TWICE was able to take home were "Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10" and "Best Group (female category)"!
But it did not seem like a regular awards night for TWICE as the award they were able to receive was further elevated as they set a special record for the Mnet Asian Music Awards!

During the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards, (as mentioned above) TWICE were named "Best Group (female category)" and it marks the K-pop girl group's 4th win with the award and due to this, TWICE now broke the tie they previously had with Girls' Generation aka SNSD.
The K-pop girl group has now become the first and only K-pop girl group to win the award for four straight years in the history of the Mnet Asian Music Awards.
