K-Pop Domination: TWICE, BTS, & Epik High On Rolling Stone’s ‘The 50 Best Songs Of 2021’!
The American pop culture magazine Rolling Stone just dropped their "The 50 Best Songs of 2021" list, and to the delight of K-pop fans, songs from BTS, Epik High, and TWICE are featured on the list.
On the 6th of December local time, Rolling Stone magazine just dropped their yearly picks for the 50 best songs of the year, and the list includes a myriad of songs spanning multiple genres.
Notably, TWICE started off the popular list at the 50th spot with their first-ever all-English track, "The Feels." Rolling Stone talked about how the TWICE song deserved the attention and love it caught from the 'Western market,' even complimenting its 'radiant burst of disco energy.'

Following the JYP Entertainment K-pop girl group, Epik High entered the list at the 40th spot with "Rosario," which features CL and Zico. The song is from their 10th studio album, "Epik High Is Here."
Rolling Stone wrote about Epik High by calling them 'K-pop vets' and even remarking that their song is unique compared to usual K-pop songs as it has gone on to set the standard for K-pop artists to follow.
Lastly, ARMYs cheered as BTS's "Butter" placed 16th on Rolling Stone's "The 50 Best Songs of 2021" list-making "Butter" their second song to appear on the list as they also appeared on the list in 2020.
Rolling Stone magazine talked about BTS's "Dynamite" as well by saying that "Butter" was about their achievements as a group. The magazine also praised the remix version of "Butter," featuring the one and only Megan Thee Stallion.
