On the 16th of August, SM Entertainment's Red Velvet came back after a two-year hiatus, dropping the extended play "Queendom," to the delight of fans.

ReVeluvs, the fandom name of Red Velvet, thoroughly enjoyed the title track of the album which was also entitled "Queendom." Unfortunately, fans believe that Red Velvet should get more attention as it seems as though the K-pop girl group is only having one musical release this 2021.

But it seems as though Irene, Wendy, Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri are gearing up for a comeback as multiple sources have given proof that the SM Entertainment third-generation K-pop girl group is working on not only a Korean album but also a Japanese album as well.

On the 1st of November, Drew Scott, a producer, and singer-songwriter, has gone on to tweet out a message that said: "I'm obsessed with these Red Velvet records we did last week tbh!"

This immediately garnered the attention of fans and ReVeluvs as they have been asking for more Red Velvet releases since the end of their hiatus earlier this year.

Following this on the 5th of November, there have been multiple talks among the fans of Red Velvet, the ReVeluvs, as information regarding a comeback has been released.

To add to this, Red Velvet's Yeri has gone on to tease that the K-pop girl group is gearing up for a Korean album. Her message was translated to English and was then shared by Red Velvet fans on Twitter. Beyond this, a Japanese album might also be coming soon!

Notably, Red Velvet's Yeri was able to tease the Red Velvet fans via "Bubble," a fan social platform on Lysn.

Fans believe that since the rumors have been backed up with multiple proofs, Red Velvet seems to be dropping a comeback soon. But as of writing this article, SM Entertainment has not yet addressed the rumors!
