Are ARMYs going too far? Or was James Corden's joke too disrespectful towards them and BTS?

Since their big break, BTS has garnered multiple love and support from talk show hosts! Through the years, BTS has successfully made its mark in the US and due to this, the K-pop boy band has made a plethora of appearances on American talk shows.

Among the multitude of talk show hosts that love BTS (and are loved by ARMYs in return), one in particular stands out; British host James Corden. But the host is recently under fire from ARMYs as he made 'inappropriate' comments towards BTS in "The Late Late Show With James Corden."

Just recently, BTS made ARMYs proud as they participated at the 76th United Nations General Assembly in New York. Their speech was very impactful, most especially towards the younger generation where their fans number the most.

Although ARMYs and netizens appreciated BTS' words, BTS' fandom did not like James Corden's recent introduction on "The Late Late Show With James Corden," believing it was disrespectful towards the K-pop boy group.

"The UN General Assembly kicked off this morning in New York City. And it started with some pretty unusual visitors: BTS was there, BTS visited the UN," James Corden noted.

Additionally, ARMYs also did not appreciate how James Corden referred to them later on.

James Corden added, "The world leaders have no choice but to take BTS seriously. At the end of the day, BTS has one of the largest ARMYs on planet Earth. Historic moment, it actually marks the first time 15-year-old girls everywhere found themselves wishing they were Secretary-General Guterres."

Not long after the video went viral, ARMYs gathered online to talk about their disdain towards the popular talk show host.

Stay tuned for more news and updates on the members of BTS!
