Amidst News Of Soojin’s Departure From (G)I-DLE, Actress Seo Shin Ae’s YouTube Channel Receives Hate
Ahead of the recent news of Soojin parting ways with (G)I-DLE after being on hiatus for months due to school bullying allegations, South Korean actress Seo Shin Ae has now started getting hate from Neverlands (the fandom name of (G)I-DLE) and netizens.
CUBE Entertainment's announcement being:
"This is Cube Entertainment.
First, the agency apologizes for having caused concern through the controversy associated with our artist Soojin.
Today, we are announcing the decision that Soojin will be leaving the group.
(G)I-DLE will henceforth promote as a five member group. We will continue to do our best and provide unstinting support so that (G)I-DLE can show their growth in music and performance.
Thank you."
Although Soojin has already left (G)I-DLE, netizens, and Neverlands are not taking her departure lightly. A recent petition has started circulating online regarding fans' distaste for Soojin's abrupt departure. As of writing this article, more than 140 thousand netizens have signed the petition!

The South Korean actress Seo Shin Ae has been getting hate online after she shared her personal history with Soojin, allegedly being bullied by the K-pop idol. Notably, prior to being harassed on her YouTube channel, Seo Shin Ae has also garnered negative press on her Instagram.
As per netizens, Seo Shin Ae 'ruined Soojin's career' and ahead of this, the comment section of Seo Shin Ae has been turned off. Following this, the fans of Seo Shin Ae alongside other Korean netizens placed down positive comments on Seo Shin Ae's YouTube channel.
