BTS, EXO, Or SEVENTEEN? Check Out The Top K-Pop Boy Groups This August!

The Korean Business Research Institute has released the top K-Pop boy group rankings for the month of August. Data collected from July 14 to August 14 was used to determine the most popular male idol groups for the month. Usually, when the K-pop boy group has a high ranking, it means that their popularity for that month is through the roof!

This is usually the case if a male K-pop group made a comeback in the previous days or weeks or netizens and fans simply just love them!

For the 39th consecutive month, BTS remains the undisputed king of boy group brand reputation. The "Permission to Dance" singer scored a whopping 13,098,122 brand reputation index for the month of August. BTS's continued dominance in brand rankings is solid proof that the boy group's success globally is unstoppable.

SM Entertainment's top boy group EXO rose to secure second place for the August brand rankings. EXO scored a brand reputation index of 3,584,626 which was a 20.97% increase from their last month's score.

Trailing at number three is PLEDIS Entertainment's SEVENTEEN who scored a brand reputation index of 2,9166,572.

Meanwhile, completing the top five are NCT and ASTRO at fourth and fifth place, respectively.
