Netizens Upset As Lee Chaeyeon Receives Disrespect From Other Contestants Of ‘Street Woman Fighter’
WM Entertainment's Lee Chaeyeon, a former member and main dancer of IZ*ONE has been competing as part of the dance crew, WANT, on the survival dance show "Street Woman Fighter."
Aside from her personality and unique visuals, Chaeyeon is known in the entertainment industry for her passion and skills on the dance floor.
Most notably, Chaeyeon's performance videos showcasing her skills in dancing have gotten a lot of love and attention from her personal fans and netizens. But it seems as though her fellow competitors on the show do not love Chaeyeon as much as her fans love her.
Recently, netizens and Lee Chaeyeon's fans have been flocking the internet showing love and support towards the K-pop idol after a trailer for an episode of "Street Woman Fighter" showed other competitors disrespecting Chaeyeon.
Although "Street Woman Fighter" has not officially started yet, the competitors are already showing off their tenacity. Perhaps a bit too much. In the aforementioned trailer, other competitors were talking about the difference between K-pop idols and 'dancers.'
This was somewhat trivial as most K-pop idols are incredibly gifted in dancing while singing and rapping.
Moreover, in the trailer, Lee Chaeyeon was wearing a jacket that had the tag 'NO RESPECT'. Netizens believe that this was worn by the K-pop idol after the competitors were asked to vote who they respected the least.
"I don't think I can dance anymore," Lee Chaeyeon was heard saying as she was sobbing while her fellow crew members were comforting and supporting her. They even asked the cameraman to stop filming to protect Chaeyeon.
Due to this, fans and netizens have been showing their outrage as Chaeyeon is extremely gifted as a dancer, which is evident as her role in IZ*ONE was as the main dancer of the K-pop group.
Hopefully, Chaeyeon will take this as a chip on her shoulder, proving to all the other competitors that she is as gifted and as passionate in dancing compared to the rest of them.
