To the delight of fans, Park Seo Joon was confirmed to be a part of "The Marvels" cast as a list of the actors and actresses has been updated on IMDb. Previously on the 30th of July, a US news site reported that Park Seo Joon is possibly going to be a fourth Marvel hero.

Park Seo Joon will be joining "The Marvels" and is slated to become the 4th 'Marvel' hero. Alongside him is Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, who is played by Brie Larson, and Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, who is going to be played by Iman Vellani.

Notably, Iman Vellani will make her debut as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel on her upcoming show "Ms. Marvel" but it seems as though the release date has been pushed a tad bit back.

Just recently, Disney's streaming service, Disney+, is planning their upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe show entitled "Ms. Marvel" to be reportedly released in 2022. Disney previously revealed that "Ms. Marvel" will be dropped this year but it seems that there has been a change of plans.

To add to this, details such as the plot and other fixtures are still yet to be announced but the creator of "Ms. Marvel" has announced that the MCU show will have 6 episodes.

The MCU shows "Ms. Marvel" and "Hawkeye" are supposedly being released this year and would have completed Disney+'s MCU shows for 2021.

"Ms. Marvel" will be the first hero to make her debut in a series instead of a film which is an incredible step for Disney as this might follow other heroes' origins.

As of writing this article, Disney has not yet dropped an official announcement, but as per industry insiders, "it is very safe to assume at this point that 'Ms. Marvel' is now on track for an early 2022 premiere."
