"The Suicide Squad" director James Gunn went on his personal Twitter to share his reaction regarding the Rotten Tomatoes score of his film, "The Suicide Squad."
"With 97% on the Tomatometer #TheSuicideSquad is Certified Fresh a week before the US release, a first for me," The director went on to share with an overwhelming amount of emojis.
DC Films' "The Suicide Squad" has an amazing lineup of freshman DC actors such as John Cena, playing Peacemaker, and Idris Elba, playing Bloodsport, to say the list. But notably, other stars have returned to once again take up their DC villain mantle!
Among the returnees are Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang has been confirmed (and seen as per the trailers) to be in "The Suicide Squad."
Notably, although "The Suicide Squad" is a sequel, James Gunn has shared that you do not need to see the first movie in order to enjoy the sequel.
