Previously, it was announced that (G)I-DLE's very own leader and main rapper will be releasing a solo comeback on her own, making Neverlands (the fanbase of (G)I-DLE) extremely elated!

Two months ago on the 21st of May, K-pop industry insiders went on to report that the (G)I-DLE leader and main rapper is currently in the final stages of preparing for a solo comeback that will be released within this year.

To give truth to the reports, (G)I-DLE's Cube Entertainment went on to reveal, "It is true that Jeon Soyeon is preparing to make a solo comeback, but the schedule is still being worked out."

Further hyping up (G)I-DLE's Soyeon's upcoming solo comeback, a teaser was previously posted on (G)I-DLE's official social media page.

To follow this up, on the 17th of June, (G)I-DLE's very own Jeon Soyeon announced that she was going to drop her solo comeback this July with her first mini-album entitled "Windy."

Notably, the (G)I-DLE leader is known for her outstanding ability to rap and write amazing songs. Due to this, Neverlands and Soyeon's personal fans speculated that her comeback would be a rap-heavy track!

Now, as of writing this article, (G)I-DLE's Jeon Soyeon has finally made her comeback as she dropped her very first mini-album entitled "Windy" with the title track "BEAM BEAM"!

Jeon Soyeon, Pop Time, and Kako, composed the song and Jeon Soyeon herself wrote the lyrics for the title track. The title track carries the vibes of summer, melding rock and hip hop into one cohesive melody.

It has already been a day since the music video for Soyeon's "BEAM BEAM" dropped on YouTube and it has already garnered 3,973,801 views, 238k likes, and 20,779 comments.
