On June 28th, NCTzens (fans of NCT and its sub-units) and netizens were gifted by NCT DREAM with their highly-anticipated comeback on the 28th of June with "Hello Future."

NCT DREAM's repackaged version of the K-pop boy group's first-ever studio album "Hot Sauce" was released in the month of May.

As per one of the most popular Korean charts, Hanteo, NCT DREAM's "Hello Future" was able to sell a total of 527,758 copies on the 28th of June alone. This means that this is the first repackaged album in the history of Hanteo to ever go beyond 500,000 sales on the first day of repackaged album's official release.

Beyond this, NCT DREAM's "Hello Future" was also able to reach the second-highest first-week sales milestone. This is also the first feat reached by any repackaged album in the history of Hanteo.

As of writing this article, yesterday on the 5th of July, Hanteo Chart also revealed that NCT DREAM's "Hello Future" was able to sell 681,316 copies of their album during its first week.

This is an amazing feat especially because netizens and fans have to consider this is only a repackaged album, not an official album release by NCT DREAM. This shows the popularity of NCT DREAM and the ability of the K-pop boy group to perform on the K-pop market.

It should be noted that BTS, with "Love Yourself: Answer," has been the only repackaged album to sell more copies during its first week of release. To put the cherry on top, NCT DREAM has also gone on to be ranked #1 on Hanteo Chart's first-half rankings of the top 50 artists who contributed the most to K-pop.

NCT DREAM is truly on a dominant path as "Hello Future" has been performing really well.

Congratulations to SM Entertainment, NCT, and NCT DREAM!
