Battle Of The Summer Queens: TWICE Overcomes Brave Girls As ‘Alcohol-Free’ Records 3rd Win

The 9th of June was a perfect summer day for ONCEs (the fandom name of TWICE) as JYP Entertainment's TWICE released their music video for their most recent title track entitled "Alcohol-Free." 

TWICE's "Alcohol-Free" is the title song to their most recent mini-album "Taste of Love." Since then, TWICE has topped multiple charts, and broken a couple of records with their most recent title track and it seems as though TWICE is not planning on stopping the hype train.

As of writing this article, 16 days since its release, TWICE's "Alcohol-Free" has garnered yet another win for JYP Entertainment's 3rd generation K-pop girl group.

Yesterday on the 24th of June, in the most recent episode of "M Countdown," the K-pop artists who were vying for first place were Brave Girls with "Chi Mat Ba Ram" and TWICE with "Alcohol-Free."

In the end, JYP Entertainment's TWICE was able to get the W with "Alcohol-Free."

TWICE later went on to share in a video message that they are happy to be able to place No. 1 again after the previous week. For TWICE, they were able to get the number 1 spot due to ONCEs support. Thus, they are grateful and the members of TWICE also shared that they miss ONCEs. 

For the most recent episode of "M Countdown," there were no new performances from K-pop artists. But, they were able to air very special highlighted performances which were taken from the first half of this year.

TWICE ended their message as they shared, "We love you!"

Similar to most K-pop groups, TWICE really misses their fans as there has been no face-to-face interaction between artists and fans due to the pandemic. Regardless, ONCEs still show their undying support for TWICE which is evident with the K-pop girl group's continuous wins.
