SM Entertainment’s aespa Going Up The ‘Next Level’, Dubbed #1 On MelOn’s ‘24Hits Chart’
SM Entertainment's hit rookie K-pop girl group released their latest hit song "Next Level" on the 17th of May, a little over a month as of writing this article. Since their comeback, aespa has been garnering more and more fame due to their talent, visuals, and charisma.
Recently, the members of aespa garnered another milestone as they went on to top a popular chart.
A little over a month since dropping their most recent title song, aespa's "Next Level" is now dubbed the #1 spot on the MelOn's "24Hits chart". aespa's "Next Level" was able to do this yesterday, as of writing this article.
The songs that enter MelOn's "24Hits chart" are tabulated via the number of unique users who listen to the songs within 24 hours. Currently, as of the 22nd of June, at 12 pm Korean Standard Time, aespa's "Next Level" is still on top of MelOn's "24Hits chart."
Amazingly, SM Entertainment's aespa is currently the first female group to make the #1 spot on MelOn's "24Hits chart" with a track that dropped prior to system changes on Melon's charts last year during July.
Prior to its current milestone, during its release, aespa's "Next Level" also got the #1 spot on streaming sites, Genie and Bugs. aespa's digital single even reached the #1 position on iTunes' "Top Songs charts" in multiple countries and regions.
aespa's "Next Level" has also gone on to make three Billboard charts. Billboard's "Global 200," "Global Excl. U.S.," and "World Digital Song Sales." Additionally, "Next Level" charted on Chinese charts such as "QQ Music," "Kuwo Music," and "Kugou Music."
