Rumors On Upcoming Webtoon-Based K-Drama Starring Lee Do-Hyun And Kwak Dong-Yeon Circulate
Netizens are excited and elated as popular South Korean actors, Lee Do Hyun and Kwak Dong Yeon, are possibly working on a possible K-drama together.
As of writing this article, yesterday on the 2nd of June, insiders from industry went on to report that the South Korean actors, Lee Do Hyun and Kwak Dong Yeon, are supposedly getting lead roles in a Netflix original series entitled "Hunting Dogs."
To address the reports mentioned above, the agency of Lee Do Hyun, Yuehua Entertainment went on to release a statement. The official statement being:
"Lee Do Hyun received a casting offer for 'Hunting Dogs,' but it is one of several projects he is considering, so his appearance in the drama has not been set in."
On the other side of the stick, H& Entertainment, Kwak Dong Yeon's agency, also went on to share a statement towards the rumors. The official statement being:
"He's received a casting offer and it is one of the projects he is currently considering."
The rumored K-drama will be based on the Naver webtoon entitled "Hunting Dogs." It will be about a money hunt between three guys who become entangled with one another due to their debt. The K-drama, noted to have 8 episodes, will be written and directed by Kim Joo Hwan.
Kim Joo Hwan has directed films such as "Midnight Runners" and "The Divine Fury." Netflix's "Hunting Dogs" will notably begin filming in the second half of this year and fans are really excited due to the exciting plot.
As of writing this article, Lee Do Hyun is playing the lead in the popular K-drama, "Youth of May." Aside from the rumors, he is also in talks for another K-drama with South Korean actress Im Soo Jung.
Previously, Kwak Dong Yeon went on to star in the immensely popular K-drama, "Vincenzo." At present, he is filming for the South Korean movie entitled "6/45."
