After being embroiled in a series of bullying allegations, Actor Kim Ji Soo faced probably the lowest point of his acting career.

Ji Soo was removed from his recent drama "River Where The Moon Rises" due to the bullying allegations were thrown against him. His departure from the drama caused damage not just to his career but also to the production team behind it. The "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" star, together with his agency, was sued for ₩3 billion KRW ($2,661,771 USD) for the damages brought upon by the issue involving him. The compensation lawsuit against Ji Soo and KeyEast was filed by Victory Contents to the Seoul Central District Court after a series of unsuccessful negotiations.

Just almost two months after the controversy, KeyEast released an official statement announcing the termination of the exclusive contract between them and Ji Soo. According to the agency, it was a mutual decision to terminate the exclusive contract with the "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actor.

"We assessed that it is currently difficult for Ji Soo to carry out activities, and we respect the actor's personal intention to not cause further harm to the agency, so a mutual final decision was made to terminate his contract," KeyEast announced.

Meanwhile, KeyEast also updated their stand regarding the compensation lawsuit filed against them and Ji Soo by the production team behind the drama "River Where The Moon Rises."

"We will do our best to smoothly resolve the ongoing lawsuit related to the drama 'River Where The Moon Rises.' Thank You." Ji Soo's agency stated.

In other news, Ji Soo was recently reported to be pursuing legal actions against the people behind the false sexual violence accusations pressed on him.
