YG Entertainment Gains Young Star As Child Actress Park So-yi Signs With Agency
As of writing this article, on the 19th of April, a spokesperson from the South Korean entertainment agency, YG Entertainment, released a statement with regards to a new signing.
The YG Entertainment spokesperson shared, "We are excited and happy to work with actress Park So-yi, who projects solid and exceptional acting from movies to dramas. We will be supporting her to the fullest to showcase her talents and full potential in the entertainment industry."
Park So-yi is a 9-year-old child actress, and she made her acting debut in "Mistress", a 2018 OCN series.
After her debut, Park So-yi has constantly made an appearance in multiple projects.
The projects being "Miss Hammurabi" in 2018, "Encounter" in 2018, "Her Private Life" in 2019, "My Country: The New Age" in 2019, "Dol Dol Sol Sol La La Sol" in 2020, and "She Would Never Know" just this year in 2021.
Park So-yi also made an appearance on the ongoing K-dramas "Law School" and "Mouse."
Multiple netizens and people in the South Korean industry praise the 9 year old for her natural skills in acting and for pursuing her dreams at such a young age.
Moreover, during one of her past movie projects entitled "Deliver Us from Evil," So-yi had a huge impact on the audience with her amazing acting. Due to this, Park So-yi was nominated under the category "Best New Actress" in the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards.
So-yi is also preparing for two new South Korean movies, "Pawn" and "Christmas Present."
Now that the child actress is now under YG Entertainment, Park So-yi is expected to improve her career further. Such is the case when netizens root for an actress that feels at home in the South Korean acting industry.
