The 2nd M/V Teaser For BLACKPINK Rosé’s Debut Is Out And It Changes Everything
Rosé, the vocalist for the internationally acclaimed K-pop girl group, BLACKPINK, will have her solo debut in 2 days. The very first teaser poster of which was posted on Rosé's official Instagram page, was posted approximately six days ago.
Three days ago, YG Entertainment made BLINKS even more excited by posting a music video teaser for "On the Ground" right on BLACKPINK's official YouTube channel. The clip, which lasted for only fifteen seconds, showed Rosé riding in what seems to be a limo wearing an elegant dress.
Eventually, Rosé wears a jacket that covers her dress and then looks at the camera, and the video ends with her name, the date of the solo release, which is March 12, and "On the Ground" (the title of the song) on the screen.
Just recently, on March 9, a second teaser for "On the Ground" was released on BLACKPINK's official YouTube channel, and the mood is now completely different.
The seventeen-second clip starts off with a backdrop of a theatre, and Rosé is seen walking out of it. Then it cuts to the BLACKPINK vocalist wearing a short, sparkly dress while her face is covered with a shadow, then once again another cut happens where Rosé is this time wearing a black outfit.
The video ends with Rosé singing the line "[...] everything I need is on the ground," along with once again with her name, the title of the song "On the Ground," and the date of March 12.
The song seems to stray from the acoustic and melancholic feel of the first one and shifts to a more powerful, rock-type ballad.
BLINKS all over the world are now truly excited since it seems multiple concepts have meshed together for Rosé's solo debut.
Hopefully, amidst the recent issue of the hashtag "YG Stop Sabotaging Lisa" trending on Twitter, Rosé's debut will not be affected by this.
