YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK has been garnering national fame since its debut in 2016. BLINKs, the name of the fandom of BLACKPINK, are one of the most loyal and active fan bases around the world.

This means that no matter the circumstances, BLINKs are likely to standby and defend their K-pop girl group, BLACKPINK. Sometimes even to the point of calling out YG Entertainment themselves.

Recently, fans of BLACKPINK's maknae, Lisa, started demanding for BLACKPINK's company, YG Entertainment, to ensure their handling of Lisa's endeavors further. As of writing this article, just yesterday, on the 7th of March, "YG Stop Sabotaging Lisa" began to trend on the popular social media site Twitter.

Along with this hashtag came multiple proofs of occurrences when BLINKs believed that YG Entertainment did not fully support Lisa's activities. Beyond this, it is not just local BLINKs in South Korea who are making this trend. International fans, even in the west and a majority of Chinese BLINKs, support this trending movement.

The main reason for this trending hashtag is that BLINKs have noticed that a handful of Lisa's, such as endorsements, had low-quality photos. More specifically, Lisa's cellphone endorsement of the Vivo S9, which had photos that had edits that were questionable and even some unfinished.

BLINKs also pointed out the clothing of Lisa wherein it seems repeating and not of high quality during her shootings of IQIYI's "Youth With You 3." It was noted that in the prior seasons, Lisa wore better outfits compared to now.

BLACKPINK fans also have been assuming that Lisa has been prohibited from participating in offline activities. Pointing out that her endorsements, as mentioned above, were rushed, and it was also noted that she has not joined in recent group projects.

This trending hashtag has hit YG Entertainment hard due to the stocks of the company dropping to ₩49,850 Korean Won, as per writing this article.

Additionally, the hashtag "YG Stop Sabotaging Lisa" has reached over a million tweets. This shows the power a K-pop fan holds and that they are more than just mere fans.
