IZ*ONE And Soyu’s Collab Has Finally Dropped And It Is A Bop

One of South Korea's hottest girl groups, IZ*ONE, was created through Mnet's famous reality competition show, "Produce 48." The twelve idols who make up IZ*ONE are Jang Won-young, Sakura Miyawaki, Jo Yu-ri, Choie Ye-na, An Yu-jin, Nako Yabuki, Kwon Eun-bi, Kang Hye-won, Hitomi Honda, Kim Chae-won, Kim Min-ju, and Lee Chae-yeon. IZ*ONE is currently under the companies Off the Record and Swing Entertainment.

IZ*ONE debuted two years ago on October 29, 2018. Their very first release, an extended play, also known as EP, called "Color*Iz." Immediately right after its release, IZ*ONE was suddenly thrust into the spotlight with commercial success. Their EP sold 225,000 plus units, even peaking at number 2 on South Korea's very own Gaon Album Chart.

Last January 26, IZ*ONE dropped a promotional single titled "D-D-Dance" for Universe, a mobile application.

But recently, Starship Entertainment and Pepsi's latest project has been released! Selected members of IZ*ONE and Soyu have joined together to create a collaboration song.

IZ*ONE's Kwon Eun-bi, Miyawaki Sakura, Kim Min-ju, Jo Yu-ri, and Jang Won-young have joined forces with Soyu, a South Korean idol who is a powerful singer and is best known as a former member of the South Korean girl group Sistar.

The girls banded together to create "ZERO:ATTITUDE." This song features pH-1, also known as Park Jun-won, a Korean-American rapper based in South Korea. The song was recently released last Monday, February 15.

Additionally, "ZERO:ATTITUDE" was produced by GALACTIKA, a producer also known for his work with ITZY, another rising K-pop girl group.

IZ*ONE and Soyu dropped the teaser for "ZERO:ATTITUDE" featuring pH-1 last February 13 and it was not far from what the vibe of the song is now. Aside from heavy influences from Pepsi in terms of props and color, the song is quite the bop.

"ZERO:ATTITUDE" was released right after the collabs other famous idols such as Ravi and Eunha, Ong Seong Wu, Hongbin and Hyungwon, Rain and Soyu, Zico and Kang Daniel, and Bae Jin Young and Kim Yo Han. Starship Entertainment has a strong partnership with Pepsi.
