Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers reveals what could be a shocking finale for the hit HBO show as photos of a set engulfed in flames has emerged in social media. Fans of GoT already have an idea that the location for season eight's finale will likely take place in King's Landing, as most scenes have been filmed there recently. However, there's a huge possibility that the capital city will be swallowed in flames. Fan accounts GOTlike Locations and A Red Priestess were the first few ones who made the photos viral on Twitter, igniting a commotion among GoT fans.

While the cause for the huge fire is still unknown, fans are suspecting it could be the work of dragons, considering the city is literally surrounded by water and its structures made of stone.

'GOT' Concludes in Season 8

Whatever the reason for the wildfire is, it's an undeniable fact that the end of Game of Thrones is nigh. Fans are still not over the fact that the hit TV series is ending, but it's been already confirmed that filming will officially end next Saturday.

If that's not enough for a wake-up call, Emilia Clarke has already said her goodbyes via Instagram. The actress, who sensationalized the HBO show by playing Daenerys Targaryen, posted a photo of herself with the caption: "It's been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I'd be able to live and the family I'll never stop missing ##lastseasonitis"

While waiting for the season finale, there's been a lot of speculation among fans and critics of the show, questioning who will end up sitting on the Iron Throne and which deaths will send fans wailing.

Some clues have been dropped off, however, like the huge paint job they did on the Red Keep, which now looks white instead of the usual red. Moreover, who will end up marrying Daenerys? The possibility of her marrying Gendry has been canceled, leaving fans all the more confused than ever.
