The tvN production Strong Woman Do Bong Soon may be one of the beloved South Korean dramas for the year 2017 given the amazing chemistry between its lead stars Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik. Recently, the actress revealed how she purposely went the extra mile to look good beside the Suits actor.
Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik's acting in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon made many fans swoon given the onscreen couple's sweet moments in the drama. The two South Korean celebrities even looked good together despite their height differences. With the Oh My Ghost actress looking petite beside the Suits star's tall stature, many considered the two celebrities a perfect fit for each other.
In a recent interview, Park Bo Young admitted that she even went on a diet for the Suits actor. The Strong Woman Do Bong Soon star made the revelation during a special appearance at SBS' Power FM's Cultwo Show. Given the K-pop singer turned actor's slim frame, the actress explained that she wanted to look good beside Park Hyung Sik while they were filming the said tvN drama.
Not wanting to look chubby beside her former Strong Woman Do Bong Soon co-star, Park Bo Young shared that she wanted to match Park Hyung Sik's slender figure. She even described the ZE:A band member as very skinny. However, the actress clarified that she would also try to do the same for other projects and embark on a specific diet regimen as needed for a role.
Many fans have also been hoping for Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik to reunite in another drama project. It appears that working together again would not be a hardship for the young actress. The Strong Woman Do Bong Soon star previously shared how she has always had her eye on the Suits actor.
In an interview with X Sports News, the Oh My Ghost star admitted that she was a fan of the K-pop group ZE:A. Park Bo Young also revealed how Park Hyung Sik used to quiz her on some of the band's tracks. The actor even danced a few of the group's signature moves during the Strong Woman Do Bong Soon filming breaks, according to the actress.
Meanwhile, Park Bo Young has yet to make her small screen comeback after the hit 2017 tvN production Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. On the other hand, Park Hyung Sik currently stars in the Korean remake of the US series Suits. The said drama airs every Wednesday and Thursday on KBS.
