iKON's recent comeback album "New Kids: BEGIN" may be having some problems gaining traction on the Korean radio charts but an earlier performance of the YG artists is causing a buzz on the internet. iKON's video for their LED performance for Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" was recently noticed by "Fast and the Furious" star Tyrese Gibson and has now become viral.

The video of iKON's LED homage to Michael Jackson's iconic song was shared by actor Tyrese Gibson on his Facebook account last May 26. The post was simply captioned: "Nice..." and has reportedly been viewed 11 million times.

Tyrese was impressed the synchronicity and choreography of the dance number which was further emphasized by the use of LED lights which highlighted iKON's slick dance moves and timing amid a dark stage. According to fans who discussed the performance on One Hallyu, iKON has to manually operate the LED lights to make sure that they will perfectly synchronize.

As a testament to their dedication, iKON reportedly had to practice the dance number hundreds of times to get it right. Because of the LED lights, one wrong move could have made the entire dance number fall apart. Because of the darkness, fans could not see the faces of the members, and yet, each one put their best foot forward and gave their 100 percent effort to the performance making the lights and moves flow fluidly from one member to the next.

It can be recalled that iKON has been besieged by criticisms for failing to achieve an all-kill on the charts despite being managed by YG Entertainment. Many iKONICs, the official iKON fandom are pointing the fingers at YG for the K-pop group's lack of exposure on the Korean stage in the past year as they have concentrated on reaching the Japanese market. iKON members acknowledged that it was YG's decision to develop their skills on different small stages before making their comeback, which has helped them become more well-rounded performers, Korea Portal reported.
