The upcoming historical drama "Seven Day Queen" is slated to unveil an interesting story about one of South Korea's shortest reigning Queens. Recently, KBS unveiled a teaser clip that showed Park Min Young in a comedic scene with co-stars Yeon Woo Jin and Lee Dong Gun.

The latest promo clip for "Seven Day Queen" surprised many viewers given a funny scene that belied the show's expected tragic storyline. In the said clip, as posted on All Kpop, Park Min Young was filmed smiling brightly at Yeon Woo Jin's character who was standing several feet away. It appears that the two characters have a romantic relationship given how the said "Healer" actress started running excitedly towards the young man who had his arms wide open in a welcoming embrace.

However, the romantic moment between Park Min Young and Yeon Woo Jin's characters ended in disaster when the actress tripped on a stone and fell flat on the ground just a few steps from the actor. Despite the accident, Yeon Woo Jin also dropped on the ground and turned the embarrassing situation into a light moment as they laughed over the incident. The "Seven Day Queen" teaser also showed the two in the midst of a sweet kiss but the said scene was interrupted by Lee Dong Gun's character when he suddenly inserted a hand between the lover's faces.

"Seven Day Queen" tells the story of Queen Dangyeong whose stay on the royal throne only lasted seven days. Portrayed by Park Min Young, the said character will also be involved in a love triangle between two half-brothers namely the tyrant King Yeonsangun (Lee Dong Gun) and Prince Jungjong (Yeon Woo Jin).

Meanwhile, Park Min Young shared that the upcoming historical series "Seven Day Queen" will also feature light moments. In an earlier interview with Korean magazine The Star, as cited by Sports Donga, the "Healer" star shared that the drama will begin with a bright storyline before the plot will turn dark and tragic.

"Seven Day Queen" will premiere on May 31 on SBS. New episodes will be aired every Wednesday and Thursday.
