Syria Crisis: US Official Doubts Syria’s Chemical Weapon Production Capability
Syria's recent chemical attack has left dozens of people dead, and a White House senior official believes that Russia is trying to "cover up" what happened. The US official also accused Russia of involvement in a campaign of disinformation that suggests a clear pattern of deflecting blame.
White House Disproves Russia's Claims That Assad Did Not Launch The Chemical Attack In Syria
The White House announced a newly declassified information that disproves Russia's claims that President Assad had nothing to do with the chemical attack in the northern part of Syria during Palm Sunday services. According to a senior official, the terrorists are not responsible for the said attack, given the fact that the group does not have sarin gas. He also emphasized the information declassified that indicates no evidence of an explosion but of "leakage" that occurs after dropping the chemical weapons.
That said, the US official noted that Russia is trying to cover up what really took place in Syria, expressing as well his doubts over Syria's capability to have chemical weapons. Nevertheless, the senior official reveals a strong possibility that Syria may have more agents elsewhere. The US Is Not Going Into Syria

Mr. Trump also called Syrian President Bashar al-Assad a barbarian and a butcher for the use sarin gas on his own people. However, the US president also said that the recent missile strike against Assad's military was not the beginning of a campaign to remove the dictator, further noting that the goal is to eradicate the ISIS, NYPost reported.
