Gong Hyo Jin Says IU’s 'Unpredictable' While So Hee’s More 'Considerate'
Actress Gong Hyo Jin found IU to be "unpredictable" as compared to "Ahn So Hee, who seemed to be "more considerate." The "It's Okay, That's Love" actress shared her experience of working with the singer-turned-actresses on two separate occasions when she sat down for an interview to promote her new film "Single Rider." She revealed that both idols were about 10 years younger than her but that their personalities actually differ.
Gong Hyo Jin worked with singer IU for the 2015 sitcom "The Producers." She admitted that she was curious and wanted to know this singer-actress who's not only 13 years younger than her but also has had a singing career since 15. The veteran actress described the rookie actor as a "grown-up child" since the latter patiently waited and just listened to music during delays in filming while she was fretting around. She also thought her to be "very dignified" and "pokerface." "IU was very unpredictable [in terms of her thoughts]," Soompi quoted her Gong Hyo Jin as saying.
Korea's "little sister" showed a mature side recently when IU donated 10 million KRW to her alma mater. She broke up with indie singer Kang Ji Ha after four years of dating. Her "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" co-star Lee Jun Ki denied dating rumors between them. This partly explains why she spent Valentine's Day with celebrity BFF Yoo In Na instead.
On the other hand, Gong Hyo Jin worked with the 24-year-old former Wonder Girls member only recently for their upcoming mystery film "Single Rider." She described Ahn So Hee as "playful just like any girl her age." She also found her to be especially "full of consideration" and even "felt like her politeness was very innate." She clarified, "IU was also considerate, but So Hee was a bit more hesitant and careful that she almost seemed uncomfortable, even when we were eating."
Gong Hyo Jin's former "The Producers" co-star Kim Soo Hyun is rumored to be secretly dating his label mate Ahn So Hee. Their management agency KeyEast Entertainment recently denied marriage rumors between the two and insisted they're not dating each other. The idol-turned-full-time-actor recently revealed she already knew of Wonder Girls' disbandment beforehand.
