Here’s What Fans Can Expect From The 2nd Season Of Netflix’s ‘Squid Game’

Are you ready for the return of "Squid Game"? Netflix has officially confirmed the return of their top program. Here's what fans can expect.

Previously, actor Lee Jung Jae talked about the continuation of Netflix's "Squid Game." Beyond that, Hwang Dong Hyuk (director, writer, and executive producer of the show) confirmed that he was already working on the second season of the show. 

But recently, Netflix themselves talked about the hit program.

In 2021, Netflix's hit K-Drama "Squid Game" became the top TV series in history. After a year, the streaming service officially announced a new season for the program. Netflix did this via a teaser posted on their social media.

Adding to this, Hwang Dong Hyuk shared a special message about the 2nd season of "Squid Game." Dong Hyuk shared how far "Squid Game" has come and even teased viewers on what to expect.

It was previously confirmed that Seong Gi Hun (played by Jung Jae) and the Front Man (played by Lee Byung Hun) would return. But it seems like the leader of the Masked Men and even the Salesman (played by Gong Yoo) would come back. 

Beyond this, Hwang Dong Hyuk also teased that viewers would get to meet Younghee's boyfriend, Cheol Su. Younghee was the doll-like robot in the first round of "Squid Game."
