Upcoming Dynamic Duo: Choi Woo Shik To Join Son Suk Ku In Upcoming Thriller K-Drama ‘Murder DIEary’

What happens when an immovable star meets an unstoppable actor? Fans are going to find out soon as Choi Woo Shik and Son Suk Ku are in talks for an upcoming thriller K-Drama.

On the 25th of May, an industry insider went on to report that the two actors are finalizing a contract to join in the upcoming K-Drama "Murder DIEary." The drama Choi Woo Shik and Son Suk Ku are supposedly appearing in is based on the webtoon of a similar name.

Notably, the upcoming K-Drama "Murder DIEary" is a dark comedy thriller revolving around a regular man who accidentally murders a serial killer and a detective who is investigating the murder. Actor Choi Woo Shik is in talks for the role of Lee Tang, the regular man, while Son Suk Ku has been offered to play the detective.

Furthermore, Choi Woo Shik has garnered affection for his roles in hits such as "Train to Busan," "The Witch: Subversion," "Parasite," "Our Beloved Summer," and more. Adding to this, Son Suk Ku has become popular for his projects such as "Designated Survivor: 60 Days," "Melo Is My Nature," "D.P.," and "My Liberation Notes." Hence why fans are excited about the possible pairing of the two.

Following the reports, Choi Woo Shik's agency Management SOOP revealed, "Choi Woo Shik is positively reviewing the offer to be the star in 'Murder DIEary.'" 

 

Similarly, Son Suk Ku's agency SBD Entertainment explained, "Son Suk Ku received a casting offer from 'Murder DIEary' and is positively reviewing the offer."

 

The upcoming thriller K-Drama "Murder DIEary" is currently in talks to be broadcasted on Netflix.
