Queens Of Summer: Insider Reveals BLACKPINK’s Supposed Comeback Date
After almost 2 years of waiting, netizens and K-pop fans could be graced with a BLACKPINK comeback as early as this summer!

On the 26th of April, Korean news outlets began reporting that as per an industry insider, YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK has been preparing to make a comeback with a new album as early as the beginning of summer this 2022.
Though it seems that the specific date for BLACKPINK's comeback has not yet been specifically revealed, evidence gathered has been pointing to a release happening either at the end of this year's first half or the beginning of this year's second half.
Furthermore, in a previous guest appearance on "The Game Caterers 2" in March, BLACKPINK's Jennie teased K-pop fans by saying that BLACKPINK is gearing up to make a comeback soon, at the time.
"I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but since I'm here on my own today, I'll say what I want. Please cheer us on a lot," BLACKPINK's Jennie revealed.

If Jennie, Jisoo, ROSÉ, and Lisa do end up releasing a new album this June, it will mark BLACKPINK's first comeback in almost two years. The K-pop girl group's last comeback was in October 2020, when they released their first full-length album "THE ALBUM" with its title track "Lovesick Girls."
As of writing this article, YG Entertainment has not released an official statement regarding BLACKPINK's comeback.
