YG Entertainment Responds Quickly After Jeon Somi Accidentally Spoils BLACKPINK’s Comeback!

Just recently, K-pop soloist Jeon Somi held a live broadcast for netizens and fans via her Instagram live. The Black Label artist began broadcasting live because she was bored and wanted to communicate with Som-taengs and Som-mungchis, the name of her fandom.

SImilarly, in the live broadcast, Jeon Somi showed  fans around the YG Black Label studio for the first time.

In the K-pop soloists live broadcast, Jeon Somi went around the YG studio to figure out what was the source of a particular sound. Not long after Somi knocked and opened a door, a song which had a voice assumed to be BLACKPINK Jenny's was singing a line.

Although it was a quick moment, even less than 3 seconds, netizens and BLINKs (the fandom name of BLACKPINK) were already assuming it was a leak to BLACKPINK's comeback. Jeon Somi shared to one of the staff members who was inside the studio at the time that she was doing a live broadcast.

Jeon Somi then looked uncomfortable after things happened and then addressed her viewers by noting "This could have been really bad."

Not long after the song was leaked, a lot of netizens and fans went on social media to talk about the short video, speculating that the new song that was leaked was BLACKPINK's new song. Furthermore, the YG Entertainment K-pop girl group is slated to make a comeback this year.

Following this, YG Entertainment is currently doing everything they can to delete multiple YouTube videos and report various social media posts that leaked an unknown new song.
