Manchester United Football Star Cristiano Ronaldo Announced The Death Of His Newborn Son

Manchester United Football star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, announced the death of their newborn son on social media last. 

"It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel," the couple expressed in their shared Instagram post.

It was last October when the Portugal football star announced that he and Rodriguez were expecting twins. Later in December, they detailed that they were expecting a boy and a girl.

"Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time," the couple continued on the post.

"Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you."

Many fans and friends sent tweeted support to Ronaldo. His Manchester United teammate, Marcus Rashford, personally expressed: "Thoughts are with you and Georgina brother.  I'm so sorry."

Manchester United also sent a collective message that read: "Your pain is our pain, @Cristiano Sending love and strength to you and the family at this time."

Premier League also tweeted: "The thoughts and condolences of everyone at the Premier League are with you and your family, Cristiano."

Ronaldo has four children. His first child with Rodriguez, Alana, was born in November 2017. He also has his two fraternal twins Eva and Mateo, and shares his son, Cristiano Jr., 11, with a former partner who has not been publicly revealed.
