‘Squid Game’ Star Lee Jung Jae Makes History At The ‘Screen Actors Guild Awards

"Squid Game" actor Lee Jung Jae makes history at this year's "Screen Actors Guild Awards" which is held in Santa Monica, California, USA. 

Lee Jung Jae becomes the first Asian male actor to take home the award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama series during the 28th "Screen Actors Guild Awards."

Thanks to his amazing performance in the hit Netflix series "Squid Game," Lee Jung Jae received his first nomination and win in the "Screen Actors  Guild Awards."

Actor Lee Jung Jae,  who was greatly surprised by the announcement of the winner, said, "Oh my, thank you so much! This is truly huge that's happened to me. Well, I did write something but I don't think I'll get to read it. Thank you so, so much SAG-AFTRA Awards, and thank you to the global audience for all of your love for 'Squid Game." And, thank you 'Squid Game' team!"

In "Squid Game," Lee Jung Jae played the role of Sung Ki-hoon, who receives a business card from a mysterious person and participates in the game while he is going through a life crisis.

In other news, Lee Jung Jae recently signed with Creative Artist Agency after receiving attention from Hollywood for his role in "Squid Game."

According to reports, Lee Jung Jae will be active as a director, producer, and actor in the U.S. after signing with Creative Artist Agency. He will be joining famous Hollywood stars such as Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, and Zendaya under Creative Artists Agency.

Creative Artist Agency is an entertainment and sports agency that is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
