Though the former IZ*ONE members became a part of HYBE in late 2021, reports from Naver revealed that the K-pop girl group of HYBE Labels and Source Music would not debut anytime soon, slated to come out at the end of 2022.

Although it was confirmed that both former IZ*ONE members Sakura and Chaewon would be in the line-up, the timeline for the HYBE and Source Music K-pop group debut had mixed reactions from netizens and fans, mainly from the Japanese K-pop community.

It is known that in her time in IZ*ONE, Sakura was one of the most popular members But some netizens believe that it may be too late for the K-pop idol to re-debut as Sakura was born in 1998, making her 25 years old in South Korea, a notably older age for K-pop idols to debut.

Adding to this, 2022 is a huge year for K-pop rookies as JYP Entertainment's NMIXX is also on the move alongside YG Entertainment's upcoming secret K-pop girl group, both of whom consist of young members.

Miyawaki Sakura made her debut with IZ*ONE in 2018 and following their disbandment, immediately signed with HYBE but has still now found a permanent K-pop group. Due to this, her fans are getting quite anxious for HYBE and Source Music's plans.

Not all netizens feel the same as some fans are happy regarding HYBE and Source Music's debut schedule for their upcoming K-pop girl group with Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chaewon, giving the members ample time to prepare for their debut.

Regardless of reports, HYBE and Source Music have not confirmed if they will be debuting the girl group at the end of 2022, which means that they might debut sooner or even later.

It was also reported that Source Music and HYBE Labels copyrighted the name 'LESSERAFIM' which makes netizens and fans believe it is the name of their upcoming K-pop girl group.
