It was previously confirmed that Netflix, the streaming service giant, is making more progressive moves towards live-action as they are slated to produce a live-action series of the popular anime "One Piece."

"One Piece" is one of the most famous anime in the world, with well over 1,000 episodes and Netflix is capitalizing on the popularity of the anime. The story is about the journey of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat pirates, in search of the treasure called One Piece.

Thus, here is everything you need to know about Netflix's "One Piece" live-action series: 

To the delight of "One Piece" fans, Netflix confirmed that Eiichiro Oda, the creator and author of the original manga series, will serve as the live-action series' executive producer.

This can put fans at ease as Eiichiro Oda previously revealed that the cast for Netflix's "One Piece" live-action series was chosen from a criteria based on their "face, the size of their mouths and hands, their aura, the way they carry themselves, their voice, their acting skills, their height, the balance amongst the Straw Hat Crew, etc".

Furthermore, Netflix announced the main cast for their "One Piece" live-action series consists of Mexican actor Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Japanese actor Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro and American actress Emily Rudd as Nami.

The rest of the Straw Hat Pirates crew for "One Piece" live-action series are Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
