2PM Lee Junho Joins YoonA And Jang Sung Kyu As 2021 MBC Music Festival Host

The MCs for the upcoming 2021 MBC Gayo Daejajeon (Music Festival) have been confirmed.

On the 1st of December, an MBC official confirmed that Lee Jun Ho, Im Yoon Ah, and Jang Seong Gyu will grace the highly-anticipated yearly event as hosts.

"Lee Jun Ho, Im Yoon Ah, and Jang Seong Gyu will be in charge of hosting the 2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon'" an MBC official announced.

What draws attention is the selection of 2PM's Lee Jun Ho as MC for the 2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon. Lee Jun Ho is currently appearing in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama "The Red Sleeve" alongside Lee Se Young and Kang Hoon.

Adapted from Kang Mi Kang's novel "The Red Sleeve" is set in 1700s Korea. The K-drama revolves around the story of a young prince who meets a young woman in court with whom he falls in love.

2PM's Lee Junho plays the role of prince Yi San who is next in line to the throne. The prince falls in love with Lee Se Young's character Sung Deok Im. The drama "The Red Sleeves" is gaining popularity especially with the great chemistry shared between Lee Junho and lee Se Young.

For the 2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon, Lee Junho will be working with Girls' Generation member Im Yoon Ah and entertainer Jang Seong Gyu.

Girls' Generation member and actress Im Yoon Ah has been hosting the MBC Gayo Daejejeon since 2015. She is set to appear alongside actor Lee Jong Suk in the drama "Big Mouth" in 2022.

On the other hand, Jang Seong Gyu has been the MC for the event for the past two years.

Meanwhile, the 2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon will be held on the 31st. The hottest artists in the South Korean music scene are expected to present amazing stages in the 2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon.
