Previously in 2020, the (college entrance exam) CSAT was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Notably, the CSAT for this year will be held tomorrow on the 18th of November.
As per reports from media outlets that came from multiple entertainment agencies, ITZY's Yuna, ENHYPEN's Sunoo, STAYC's Seeun, EPEX's Keum Dong Hyun and Mu, BLITZERS' Lutan, P1Harmony's Intak, and both of woo!ah!'s Wooyeon and Sora will not be taking the CSAT.
Furthermore, both CRAVITY's Taeyoung and Seongmin have also decided not to take this year's CSAT. An insider from Starship Entertainment expressed, "We discussed future prospects and career paths with Taeyoung and Seongmin, and they've ultimately decided not to take the CSAT this year."
An insider from Yujin's agency, Starship Entertainment, explained, "We've discussed the CSAT with Yu Jin in length, but she's decided not to take the exam in order to concentrate on her promotions with her debut just around the corner. Depending on the artist's opinion in the future, she'll consider the subject of college life and whether to attend college or not when she can focus on it while promoting."
But it seems as though not all young idols are passing on taking the CSAT as both Ciipher's Dohwan and Won, and fromis_9's Baek Ji Heon, who is at present attending Seoul Performing Arts High School.
Beyond the aforementioned artists, VERIVERY's Kangmin, Rocket Punch's Sohee, ICHILLIN's Chaerin, MCND's Minjae and Huijun, and GHOST9's Lee Woo Jin are going to be taking the CSAT exam this year as well.
