TWICE’s Nayeon and Chaeyoung Are Truly BFFs With Jeon Somi, Here’s Why

Recently in a feature with 1theK Originals and the K-pop soloist revealed that even though she is no longer with JYP Entertainment, she still has a very close friendship with some of their artists. More particularly, members from JYP Entertainment's TWICE.

Notably, Jeon Somi has come a long way before standing where she is now. Not long ago, Jeon Somi made her debut as the center of the K-pop girl group I.O.I after garnering first place on Mnet's "Produce 101." But this was not the first time she was a part of a survival show.

Prior to participating in "Produce 101," when Jeon Somi was 14 years old, she went on to join JYP Entertainment's survival show called "Sixteen." This was the very show that formed one of the most popular K-pop girl groups of all time; TWICE.

Since then, Jeon Somi has gone on to part ways with JYP Entertainment and is currently signed under The Black Label, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment. 

Although she did not make the cut in "Sixteen," she has still grown and formed a bond with JYP Entertainment's TWICE members. Somi went on to reveal, "I'm very close with them all." The two sets of artists have been supporting each other whenever the two have releases.

Moreover, Jeon Somi herself revealed that she is extremely close with the members of TWICE that she goes to them whenever she needs someone. Notably, as per Somi, the two members of TWICE that she constantly talks to are TWICE's Nayeon and Chaeyoung!

"They're people whom I can feel comfortable around, so whenever I'm having a hard time, I call up Chaeyoung or Nayeon," Jeon Somi affectionately revealed. 

Friendship always prevails, no matter the agency, in the entertainment industry and this is evident with Jeon Somi's friendship with TWICE's Nayeon and Chaeyoung!
