More than a month ago on the 15th of June, 2021, insiders from the film industry reported that South Korean actor Park Seo Joon is going to star in the sequel to "Captain Marvel," "The Marvels" alongside Brie Larson.

As per Park Seo Joon's agency, Awesome.ENT, they previously have yet to confirm the rumors regarding Park Seo Joon's role in the upcoming MCU movie with Brie Larson. Not long ago Awesome.ENT has only responded with the comment: "No comment."

Although previously not set in stone, if Park Seo Joon is confirmed to be starring in MCU's "The Marvels," the South Korean actor is going to be the 2nd South Korean actor to star in an MCU film following "Train To Busan" actor, Ma Dong Seok in MCU's "Eternals."

But it seems as though no announcement will be further anticipated as IMDb themselves have confirmed the rumors.

It seems as though it is set in stone that Park Seo Joon will be making his Hollywood debut. Reports have confirmed that he will have a role in "The Marvels" which is a sequel to "Captain Marvel 2."

Recently, the list of the cast "The Marvels" has been updated on IMDb and it includes Park Seo Joon, alongside Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris. Yesterday on the 30th of July, a US news site reported that Park Seo Joon is possibly going to be a fourth Marvel hero.

Others have assumed that Park Seo Joon will have the role of Korean-American hero Amadeus Cho, who eventually becomes the new Hulk. Either way, whatever role Park Seo Joon will be cast in, at least it is now confirmed that the actor will be making his way towards Hollywood.

At present, Awesome.ENT, the agency of Park Seo Joon, has not released any statement on the matter.

"The Marvels" is scheduled to release on the 11th of November, 2022.
