JTBC’s upcoming K-drama 'IDOL: The Coup' Postpones Filming As EXID’s Hani Gets COVID-19

Netizens are shocked as news of EXID's Hani becoming positive for COVID-19 makes its rounds on the internet.

As of writing this article, yesterday on the 20th of July, a plethora of media sources reported that EXID's Hani has tested positive for COVID-19 not long after a member of her staff was tested positive with the virus. 

As per reports, not long after the staff became positive with COVID-19, EXID's Hani made use of a self-test kit. Afterward, her results turned positive, it was further confirmed by a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test.

Not long after the news made headlines, EXID Hani's agency, Sublime Artist Agency, went on to give an official announcement regarding the idol-turned-actress' status.

Sublime Artist Agency reported:

"Hi. This is Sublime Artist Agency.

Hani (Ahn Hee Yeon) has tested positive for COVID-19.

After becoming aware that a staff member she had been carrying out her scheduled activities with had been diagnosed with COVID-19, Hani underwent preemptive testing, and she received a positive test result today morning (July 20).

Hani is currently following government guidelines, and the company is also taking the necessary measures."

Prior to becoming positive with the COVID-19 virus, EXID's Hani has been busy filming for her upcoming drama under JTBC entitled "IDOL: The Coup." Due to Hani's current conditions, the filming and production will temporarily be put to a halt.

As per an insider, it was recently reported that JTBC has canceled its filming plans. Adding to this, "The staff members who crossed paths with Hani or are suspected of coming into contact with her are being tested for COVID-19."

Hopefully, Hani will be okay and will be able to regain her full health very soon. Netizens and fans have been wishing EXID's Hani a swift recovery.
