This week has been a powerful outing for K-pop as once again a plethora of K-pop artists once again made their mark on this week's Billboard's "World Albums Chart." Most notably, HYBE Label's BTS reached a milestone by breaking their own record on Billboard.

As per reports from Billboard, BTS' "Map of the Soul: 7" is now officially the K-pop boy group's album that has been #1 on the World Albums chart for the longest weeks. For the week that ends on the 24th of July, BTS' "Map of the Soul: 7" was able to stay on the #1 spot.

This means that BTS' "Map of the Soul: 7" has now had 32 (non-straight) weeks on top of Billboard's "World Albums Chart." This overcomes BTS's prior record of 31 weeks which was done by "Love Yourself: Answer," BTS' album that was dropped in 2018.

Moreover, including BTS's "Map of the Soul: 7," HYBE Label's BTS has now been able to garner an amazing total of seven albums in the top 15 within this week.

The other BTS albums being "BE" which ranked 3rd on the cart, "Love Yourself: Tear" ranking 10th, "Love Yourself: Her" on the 11th spot, "Map of the Soul: Persona" ranking number 12th, "Love Yourself: Answer" on the 13th spot, and "Skool Luv Affair" at 14th place.

On the other end of the spectrum, HYBE Label's other K-pop group, TXT, with their album entitled "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" charted on the 4th spot, spending seven straight weeks on Billboard's "World Albums Chart."

TXT's album also went on to rise on other charts this week. The other chart's being "Billboard 200." This added to TXT's record as the longest-charting K-pop album of 2021.

Furthermore, YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM" went up to the 6th spot, spending 41 weeks on the chart. Following BLACKPINK is SEVENTEEN with "Your Choice" which also rose to the 7th spot in its 4th week on the chart.

JYP Entertainment's TWICE also went in at #9 with their latest album "Taste of Love." The TWICE album has now stayed on the chart for five weeks.
