It is slated that Netflix's live-action "Avatar: The Last Airbender" will begin filming this year in November. "Avatar: The Last Airbender" was an immensely popular series from Nickelodeon and it will surely blow up once again once Netflix's live-action version finally releases.

"Avatar: The Last Airbender" was a perfect pick-up for Netflix as it already has a huge amount of loyal fans and can keep garnering more fans from a younger generation. Aang, the main character in "Avatar: The Last Airbender" will surely win over hearts once he debuts.

Initially, as Netflix first announced their plans for the live-action "Avatar: The Last Airbender" remake, Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko (the original creators) were slated to lead the remake live-action.

Unfortunately, Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko left Netflix's live-action "Avatar: The Last Airbender" last year in 2020 after initially trying to develop the show. Regardless, Netflix assured fans that the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" live-action will push through.

At the beginning of this year, Albert Kim was announced to have taken over. Since that announcement, no details have been released regarding Netflix's "Avatar: The Last Airbender."

But as per recent reports, news media outlets have announced that Netflix's "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is slated to begin production and filming this year in Vancouver, Canada in November.

Notably, the working title will be "Trade Winds" and is scheduled to finish its production next year in May. Netflix itself has not confirmed the reports. But it is only a matter of time until Netflix does give an official update as August is nearly here.

Moreover, if filming does begin this year, this means actors who are playing the characters for Netflix's "Avatar: The Last Airbender" will be announced shortly.

If all goes well, Netflix's "Avatar: The Last Airbender" could be released next year during the second half.
