JTBC's upcoming K-drama, "Chaebol Family's Youngest Son," was supposedly set to be released 2 years ago in 2019 but unforeseen events pushed the K-drama to be released on a later date.
The first South Korean actor to be in talks for the main role for JTBC's K-drama is Song Joong Ki. The "Vincenzo" actor is now in negotiations for the K-drama role. If incase Song Joong Ki turns down the part, multiple male top actors are also interested in attaining the role.
To confirm this, Song Joong Ki's agency, HiSTORY D&C, even went on to confirm that the South Korean actor is currently in negotiations for the role. Recently, Song Joong Ki's possible co-star has already been cited and fans are ecstatic.
On the 2nd of June, an industry insider went on to report the news that South Korean actress, Shin Hyun Been, has been cast for the lead role in JTBC's upcoming K-drama "Chaebol Family's Youngest Son."
To address the rumors, Yooborn Company, Shin Hyun Been's agency, noted, "Shin Hyun Been has received a casting offer for the JTBC drama, 'Chaebol Family's Youngest Son,' and is currently reviewing the offer."
If she accepts, Shin Hyun Been will play the role of Seo Min Young, a prosecutor working at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office.
Shin Hyun Been has previously flexed her acting abilities in "Confidential Assignment," "Seven Years of Night," "Sunset in My Hometown," and "Beasts Clawing at Straws."
She also went on to garner a huge following from her role as Jang Gyeo Ul in "Hospital Playlist," which she is still portraying in the K-drama's upcoming 2nd season. Shin Hyun Been has also started filming for a new K-drama with actress Go Hyun Jung.
If Song Joong Ki and Shin Hyun Been accept their roles, this would be a truly amazing pairing.
