D.O, Taecyeon, & More, Male K-Pop Stars Who Are The Future Of The Film Industry
The year 2021 began with the bang in the Korean film industry as the Korea Film Council has kept sharing and updating its annual list of "Korean Actors 200."
The aforementioned list points at South Korean actors and actresses that are popular at present and have the potential to carry over their skills in the future.
Out of the list of 200 South Korean actors and actresses, here are active and in-active male K-pop idols who made the list:
Lee Joon, former main dancer and face of MBLAQ
In Lee Joon's acting career, he has shown his ability to adapt by being casted in both K-dramas and animations. Moreover, MBLAQ's Lee Joon is slated to star in the anticipated tvN K-drama, "Starfish."
Siwan, former vocalist and visual of ZE:A
Debuting with ZE:A in 2010, Siwang has been acting since that year as well. Siwan has shown his versatility as he has notably taken the roles of a writer in "Hell Is Other People", an athlete in "Run On", and everything in between.
Taecyeon, main rapper and visual of 2PM
Taecyeon debuted as an actor in KBS's "Cinderella's Sister" in 2010. Since then, the 2PM member has been seeing success in more important roles. More specifically, Taecyeon did an amazing job portraying the antagonist in tvN's "Vincenzo."
Junho, main vocalist of 2PM
Another 2PM member, Junho made his acting debut in 2011 with "White: The Melody of the Curse" as a cameo. Junho has the ability to adapt to any role given to him and surely, his fans will see more of him in the near future.

EXO's D.O. debuting his career as an actor in 2014. From the movie, "Cart " all the way to "100 Days My Prince," D.O. has won multiple awards throughout his career as an actor. Aside from awards, he has also dominated in a plethora of roles given to him.
