I.O.I

The extremely popular and highly missed K-pop group, I.O.I, recently had a reunion which was broadcasted live to commemorate their 5th debut anniversary on the 4th of May, 7 PM Korean Standard Time.

I.O.I's live broadcast was entitled "I.5.I - Yes, I Love It!" and aside from meeting one another again, they also interacted with their fans.

I.O.I members, Lim Nayoung, Yoo Yeonjung, Jung Chaeyeon, Somi, Kim Sejeong, Chungha, Choi Yoojung, Kim Sohye, and Kim Doyeon were present in the live broadcast. Unfortunately, Kyulkyung and Kang Mina were not able to make it due to their heavy schedules.

In the broadcast, the I.O.I members updated their fans and each other on what they were recently up to.

I.O.I's leader, Lim Nayoung, shared that she was promoting her upcoming K-drama entitled "Imitation." I.O.I's maknae, Somi, also shared that she was preparing for her comeback with an upcoming album. I.O.I vocalist Kim Sejeong also brought up that she had an upcoming musical.

The other members of I.O.I simply shared that they were resting and that they were happy.

I.O.I's went on to share even more by saying that even though the girls discuss their past memories all the time in our group chat, it's good that they still miss it as the girls were watching previous videos and photos as a K-pop girl group.

I.O.I's Yoojung also added, "Although it was short, we did so much together that we never ran out of things to talk about."

I.O.I then had a game that showed that they still remembered their old choreography. I.O.I danced to their songs "Dream Girls" and "Very Very Very." The girls had fun as they danced, which made fans very happy.

Later on, I.O.I then began answering questions from their fans.

Chungha, I.O.I's main dancer, was asked what I.O.I wants to do first when they all meet up again. She responded with, "I want to promote together. I also want to go on variety shows." Something fans and netizens will surely love to see.

I.O.I's Sejeong then answered another question which went, "What would you do if you got the chance to turn back time?" Sejeong said that she would want to perform "Whatta Man (Good Man)" as a complete group instead of as a unit.

I.O.I's Kim Doyeon then went on to add that she would like to be more immersed in their final concert.

As a surprise, I.O.I had an emotional reaction as Kyulkyung appeared on the broadcast via a video call. I.O.I then went on to show their gratitude to each other and their fans. The girls even went on to share that they are hoping for them to be like this in the future as well.

Suffice to say that everyone was emotional at the I.O.I reunion. Not just the I.O.I members but the fans and netizens as well. Everyone is rooting for the girls to someday return, but until then, I.O.I will remain in the hearts of many forever.
