Humble Beginnings: During TWICE’s Trainee Days, They Ate Meals In Restrooms

On the 10th of April, JYP Entertainment's TWICE celebrated its 2000th day since its debut. 

To commemorate this, the girls held a live broadcast with fans on their V LIVE that lasted over an hour. Aside from talking about their experiences, TWICE also talked about their trainee days, particularly their strict diet.

TWICE's dancer, Momo, remembered an incident when TWICE was caught eating in their practice room which then prompted them to go to the gym together. 

Momo shared this by saying that because they were caught while eating something in the practice room, they were sent to the gym together.

The eldest member of TWICE, Nayeon, similarly, then recalled what happened and shared how they were asked by asking, "Who ate food here?" 

TWICE's leader, Jihyo, then explained that the girls ate in the practice room because there was nowhere else to eat. As per Jihyo, back during their trainee days, there was no place where the girls could eat at the agency.

TWICE's vocalist, Jeongyeon, then shared something after hearing Jihyo. Jeongyeon went on to say that they did not eat in practice rooms alone. The girls also ate in restrooms. Jeongyeon shared that the girls used to eat a lot in the restroom when they were trainees.

To explain why, Nayeon claimed that the restrooms were clean, which made the restrooms a good place for the trainees to eat in. For Nayeon, the restroom was a very pleasant place, it was very clean, and it was a good place to eat.

In a funny way, TWICE's rapper, Chaeyoung, told her unnie that she was simply exaggerating.

To support this, Jihyo went on to reveal that the restrooms were truly smelly.

TWICE's maknae, Tzuyu, went on to agree with Jihyo as she added that the restrooms were clogged a lot. Tzuyu went on to say that, "And the toilets were clogged often, right?"

Now, since TWICE is one of the most well-respected and popular girl groups that are active, they no longer need to eat in such unfortunate places!
