YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK has been on top of the K-pop game since their debut, dropping hits and breaking records non-stop. Recently, as of writing this article on the 14th of April, it was confirmed that BLACKPINK has once again made another breakthrough

This time, the milestone was set both on Spotify and on YouTube.

As per reports online, YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK is still the most-streamed girl group, not just K-pop girl group, to this day. The four-member K-pop girl group was able to get a total of 2.02 billion streams on Spotify and YouTube.

Making them the most-streamed girl group as of now.

The streaming platform, Spotify, showed BLACKPINK's supremacy as they were able to garner beyond 657 million streams in 2021 alone. On the other end of the spectrum on YouTube, the YG Entertainment girl group was able to achieve 1.37 billion views on the site.

This means that YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK is now the most-streamed girl group in 2021 so far, globally and domestically.

The second most-streamed is JYP Entertainment's TWICE. The K-pop girl group was able to get a total of 982 million streams combined on Spotify and YouTube. On Spotify, TWICE was able to get beyond 370 million streams and on YouTube, the K-pop girl group was able to garner a total of 612 million streams.

Third, on the global list is the British girl group, Little Mix. In total, Little Mix was able to get more than 622 million combined Spotify and YouTube in terms of streams. On Spotify, the British girl group garnered a total of 395 million streams, and on YouTube, 227 million streams.

As 2021 continues, hopefully, these girls will still be where they are on the most-streamed girl groups on Spotify and YouTube.

Congratulations to the BLACKPINK, TWICE, and Little Mix!
