Super Junior's Leeteuk pumped up fans' excitement to the Korean boy band's upcoming comeback when he shared updates at the 6th Gaon Chart Music Awards on Wednesday. He even encouraged fans to share their ideas as he revealed that they're now working on their album.

"We are planning to make a comeback at the end of the year," Soompi quoted the 33-year-old leader of the SM boy band as saying at the recent music event which he co-hosted with MAMAMOO's Solar. He added much to the excitement of the audience, "Those who are interested, please contact us. We are in the middle of collecting songs [for our album]."

The SUJU leader, who already completed his mandatory military service way back in 2014, was the first to hint at their comeback. He shared his insight during an interview last year that the 12-member boy band can most likely release a new album with eight of nine of its members. He referred to Sungmin and Shindong, who both returned from the military in 2016, and the trio Eunhyuk, Donghae and Siwon, who'll be discharged from the military this year. The five returning members will join Leeteuk as well as Kim Heechul, Yesung and Kangin, who have all already served their military duties.

The rest of the members have now been teasing fans with their upcoming comeback as they keep feeding the E.L.F.s with updates every now and then. The 31-year-old Shindong, who's been appearing on a lot of variety shows since his military discharge, has been talking about his fellow members and even spilling details of the boys' secret dating history. He also attended a dinner with Leeteuk, Sungmin, Yesung, Siwon, Donghae and Eunhyuk earlier this month to discuss their comeback. Siwon teased fans on social media with a photo of the boys during the said dinner.
